On May 10, Canadian indie-rock act Softlung released their debut album "Second Chances”, featuring eight original tracks, including the previously released singles “Don’t Say No," "The Other Side," and “Worry.” The full album is available now on all streaming platforms and by emailing contact@softlung.com.
Self-produced by Canadian musician, S.J. Kardash, this album is a testament to his talent as a songwriter and musician, with each track showcasing his ability to weave honest lyrics through catchy melodies, while also performing all of the instruments on the recording. “Second Chances” offers a journey through self-reflection, self-doubt, change, and acceptance.
"This project really began as a personal outlet while I was between projects and trying to figure out what to do next,” says Kardash, ”but as it took shape and became more real, I realized maybe the answer was right in front of me.”
Softlung has already begun building a following with the release of three singles, which have been receiving international radio play and positive feedback from fans and critics alike. A full band has now formed and there are also plans to announce some tour dates this year, giving fans a chance to experience their music live.
